Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms govern your use of SetKit, the platform DJs use to build an official website and a password-protected press kit (EPK) they manage themselves. By using the service you agree to these terms. We keep them plain so you can actually read them.

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using SetKit you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

To use the platform you need an account and must be of legal age in your country, or otherwise able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the service on behalf of a project or company, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

What the service is

SetKit lets you build and publish a public DJ website and a password-protected press kit (EPK) with access tracking, all behind a single link. You control what gets published and when.

The service is self-managed: you upload, edit and publish your own content. We do not produce or curate your material; we give you the tools to do it yourself.

Accounts

You need an account to use the platform. About accounts:

  • Credentials—You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you notice unauthorized access.
  • One account per email—Each account is tied to a single email address. Do not create multiple accounts to get around plan limits.
  • Your content—You are responsible for the content you upload and for what you publish under your account.

Subscriptions and billing

Access to paid features is offered by subscription. Payments are processed through Mercado Pago (Argentine pesos) or Stripe (US dollars); we never see or store your card details.

  • Free trial—New accounts start with a free trial period. When the trial ends, to keep your website published you must subscribe to a paid plan (Basic or Pro).
  • Renewal—Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
  • Non-payment—If a renewal charge fails, we retry for a short grace period (7 days) with email notices; during that period your website stays published. If payment is not completed by the end of the grace period, your public website and press kit are unpublished and the link stops working until you bring the subscription current. Your content is not deleted when it is unpublished.
  • Price changes—If we change the list price, the new price never applies to a cycle you have already paid. We notify you by email at least 30 days before your first renewal at the new price.
  • Cancellation—You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the cycle you already paid for; when it lapses, your website is unpublished. No further cycles are charged.
  • Refunds—Unless required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable for periods that have already elapsed.

Your content

You keep ownership of all the content you upload: biography, photos, music links, gig dates, press materials and the rest. Your content is yours, not ours.

To operate the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce and display your content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you (for example, publishing your website and press kit). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for what we must keep by law or in temporary backups.

You represent that you hold all rights needed for the material you upload and that publishing it does not infringe anyone else's rights, including copyright, trademarks or likeness rights.

Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, misleading or harmful. We may unpublish reported content that violates these terms or the rights of third parties.

Acceptable use

When using the service, you agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.
  • Abuse the service, overload it, or interfere with its operation or security.
  • Scrape data in an automated way or access the service through unauthorized means.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the platform's source code.
  • Resell, sublicense or redistribute the service without our authorization.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your use puts the service or other users at risk, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will try to notify you first.

You can stop using the service at any time. Permanent deletion of your account and data is handled through the data deletion process.

Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers, such as Mercado Pago and Stripe for payments and Google or Facebook for sign-in. Using those features is also subject to those providers' terms. To learn how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

Warranties and liability

SetKit is provided "as is" and "as available". We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, SetKit is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where SetKit operates. Once the operating entity and its specific jurisdiction are defined, they will be stated here.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves or the law requires. When we make material changes, we will update the date above; continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are complemented by our Privacy Policy.
